How to apply for PNP
The Provincial Nomination Program can be applied using two processes:
Direct PNP Application

You will then apply for a permanent residence visa through IRCC once you receive the letter of nomination.
Express Entry System
The Express entry system is the second way to apply for PNP. This is different from the direct application in that your application cannot be reviewed unless you have a profile in the express entry system. When a province views your Express entry application, they may decide to send you an invitation to apply (ITA), which indicates that you are now eligible to apply for permanent resident status.
